  1. What is CISMO?
    CISMO is FAMU's Computer and Information Sciences Mentoring Organization (CISMO). Its purpose is to provide incoming freshmen with a vital support system through upper-classmen; that will allow their transition into the University to be effortless by providing encouragement, direction, and coordination in critical areas such as academics, administrative services, and into the college lifestyle.

  2. How can I become a member?
    CISMO membership is limited to students enrolled in the Computer and Information Sciences/Systems (CIS) department at Florida A&M University. Please contact CISMO via email, phone or by visiting the CIS department office. Registration can also be done through the CISMO website. Click here to register.

  3. What are the membership requirements?
    Membership is limited to students enrolled in the Computer and Information Sciences/Systems department at Florida A&M University.

  4. How can I cancel my membership?
    Visit the CIS department office.

  5. What membership fees do I have to pay?
    Membership is free for all CIS students. However, donations are kindly accepted.

  6. How do I register on the website?
    Visit the registration page to register for CISMO.

  7. Is there a registration fee?
    No. Registration is free for all CIS students.

  8. What is my CIS ID and why is it required?
    Your CIS ID is the username assigned to you by the CIS department.

  9. What if I forgot my user id and/or password?
    Recovering your user id can be done through the recovery page.
